The 15th generation of Dell PowerEdge servers, PowerEdge 15G, was launched on March 17th, 2021. As any new product would, PowerEdge 15G brought significant performance improvements over PowerEdge 14G, but also created some challenges. In this blog post and in the first episode of PowerEdge Soundbytes, we will look at where some of the performance improvements came from (some of them are obvious while others not so much), but also how the Dell EMC innovation engine has mitigated those challenges, allowing customers to harness the full performance of this new generation of servers, and is laying down the foundation for the future generation of PowerEdge servers.
