PowerEdge 16G Portfolio Overview: Mainstream Servers

In this fourth video of the 16G PowerEdge Portfolio overview, (overview video: https://videopress.com/v/YVTPOvKo, Scale Product Line: https://youtu.be/7vRVHFTI13Y, Acceleration-Optimized Product Line: https://videopress.com/v/GmfmYQ2f and Edge product line: https://engineering-technologists.com/?p=9863&) I am covering the Mainstream product line.

As I have demonstrated throughout this series, the 16G PowerEdge portfolio is more diverse, more innovative and has more product lines than ever to meet various requirements and workloads, but our customers still need do-it-all and versatile servers and this is what the Mainstream product line delivers. The Mainstream product line is the “traditional” Dell server product line, made of great servers capable of handling a wide variety of workloads. Those servers have been the bedrock of the modern datacenters for the last 2 decades and will continue to be for the foreseeable future.

This new product line sees the re-introduction of products that skipped a generation, such as the R760XD2, the R860 and the R960, offers choice of processors from Intel and AMD and delivers innovation around power and cooling, all the while reinforcing what sets PowerEdge servers apart: the management user experience.
