The breadth of the Dell Technologies Hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) portfolio offers choice to customers, but also sometimes causes the question of when to choose one technology over the other.
In this blog post I want to take a deeper look into VxRail and PowerFlex to come up with some guidelines on when to select one technology versus the other.
Both offerings are very powerful and at first glance seem rather similar – they provide a versatile HCI appliance that include central management to deploy, monitor, manage and perform lifecycle management of the solution.
However, VxRail and PowerFlex share some differences as well, that might make them more suitable for certain environments.
